Today we are off to one of our most favourite venues The Mansion House, near Biggelswade. Up until recently it has always been known as Shuttleworth House, but many changes are happening this year as they strive to separate the House and it function facilities from the college and Shuttleworth park. However, the venue and staff are still tremendous and we look forward to another season of weddings working with them. Why not come and see us?…

Richard & Justine would like to pass on our very best wishes for 2011 to all of our clients and friends. For us it’s going to be another busy year with an ever-increasing number of families wanting to our portrait services, and more fabulous weddings to look forward to.
It never fails to amaze me that each year, although we go back to many favourite venues, there is always a new number of venues we are working at for the first time. Once again we will be spending our summer travelling all over the country to new and fabulous wedding venues. We can’t wait….

Tonight we are back again at one of our favourite wedding fair venues, Girton College, Cambridge.
Although mid-week wedding fairs are not that popular this evening is a great opportunity for couples who may work on weekends, (when most fairs are held) or those who just want to pop in for an hour on their way home from work.
Why not come along and join the fun, doors open at 6pm fashion show at 9pm… see you there…

Congratulations to Liz & Simon who were married today at Fritton House, part of the Somerleyton Estate in Suffolk.
This weekends wedding gave us a chance to not only travel away and cover another lovely wedding, but to have a ‘stop-over’ and make a real weekend of it. On one of the hottest days of the summer so far, it was lovely to be outside down my the lake side where there was a cooling breeze, which in turn helped the Pimms go down!
Fritton House is a nine-bedroom boutique hotel dating back to the 15th century and located on the edge of Fritton Lake. All bedrooms are doubles or twins with en suite bathrooms and a maximum capacity to accommodate 18 guests. They are large, individually designed, comfortable and equipped with flat screen TVs, DVDs and a wi-fi internet access. The original features of the hotel are complemented by a combination of antique and modern furnishings. All bathrooms have showers, baths and a range of complimentary organic bathroom products.

Congratulations to Hannah who is the lucky winner of a fabulous Mia Solano wedding gown worth £2000!
Hannah who is already booked with us to cover her wedding next may, couldn’t believe her luck when she found out she had won the prize! The prize was presented by Georgina of Hinxworth Bridal, and Mark Thame of Mia Solano.
Hannah attended the presentation with her sister and her mum which gave her plenty of chance to try on a number of dresses, but her final choice is still secret so sorry Phil but it’s not one of these…!

Today we are in Surrey to photograph Ashleigh & Clare on their wonderful wedding day!
And wow what a great summers day for a wedding, possibly one of the hottest days so far this year and a great day to be outdoors in the beautiful garden settings and a fabulous marque.
The service was first held in the tiny hamlet of Leigh, where great attention and detail had been given to the flowers surrounding the church entrance and all along the aisle. It was a lovely service, and the merriment that followed ensured a great day.
